Byte Design produced the initial poster designs and material for the NHS Friends and Family Test for the NHS’s Strategic Projects Team. The request was to use a very simple and recognisable people symbol for a logo and to make posters eye-catching and in keeping with that symbol. Simplicity was the key. The posters reflected the colours and the simple shapes of the logo, and despite the rather long messages – copy remained easily readable. The project went on to be a national success, with (matching) feedback flyer data collection boxes in thousands of NHS surgeries.
